Mattress Info.

There are several types of mattresses on the market, and the most popular ones include:

1. Innerspring mattresses: These mattresses use a system of metal coils to provide support and comfort. They're a popular choice due to their affordability and traditional feel.

2. Memory foam mattresses: These mattresses are made of high-density foam that molds to the shape of the body, providing support and comfort. They're popular for their ability to relieve pressure points and reduce motion transfer.

3. Latex mattresses: These mattresses are made of natural or synthetic latex foam, which provides support and contouring to the body. They're popular for their durability and hypoallergenic properties.

4. Hybrid mattresses: These mattresses combine innerspring coils with memory foam, latex, or other materials to provide a balance of support and comfort. They're popular for their versatility and ability to cater to different sleep preferences.

5. Airbed mattresses: These mattresses use an adjustable air chamber to provide customized support and firmness. They're popular for their ability to cater to individual preferences and needs.

Overall, the choice of which type of mattress to go for depends on personal preference, sleep needs, and budget.

We use a combination of proprietary memory foams and responsive foams to create a universally comfortable feel with a top layer of memory foam, a second and third layer of convoluted foam that adds just the right amount of bounce and support. We decided to use memory foam as the top comfort layer because it provides greater pressure relief, more conforming support and provides superior spinal alignment which is paramount to helping your body recover. Memory foam also significantly reduces motion transfer, meaning you won't be disturbing your partner during sleep.

No! We use individually wrapped coil systems as a support base, it significantly reduces motion transfer, the edge is just as sturdy as the rest of the bed even when you get in/out of bed, meaning you won’t be disturbing your partner during sleep.

No! The mattress cover is made of knit fabric, which absorbs moisture, dries quickly, and helps the body breathe.

Please follow the steps as follows:
1. Place a hard edge ruler at the bottom edge of mattress.
2. Measure to the highest point.
3. Include the height of the pillow top, foam pad or any area that the encasing needs to zip around.

Topper Info.

There are several benefits to using a mattress topper, including:

1. Added comfort: A mattress topper can add an extra layer of cushioning and softness to your mattress, making it more comfortable to sleep on.

2. Enhanced support: Depending on the type of mattress topper you choose, it can provide additional support and help to relieve pressure points.

3. Improved sleep quality: By providing added comfort and support, a mattress topper can help to improve sleep quality, allowing you to wake up feeling rested and refreshed.

4. Protection for your mattress: A mattress topper can help to protect your mattress from wear and tear, spills, and stains, which can help to extend its lifespan.

5. Cost-effective solution: If you're not ready to invest in a new mattress, a mattress topper can be a cost-effective solution to improve the comfort and support of your existing mattress.

6. Customizable comfort: With a variety of materials and thicknesses to choose from, a mattress topper can be customized to meet your specific sleep needs and preferences.

Overall, a mattress topper can be a great addition to your sleep setup, providing added comfort, support, and protection for your mattress.

A mattress pad is a thin layer of padding that is placed on top of a mattress to protect it and provide a little extra comfort. It is typically made from materials such as down alternative fill, polyester, or a blend of both.

A mattress topper, on the other hand, is a thicker and more substantial layer of padding that is placed on top of a mattress to provide additional comfort and support. It is typically made from materials such as memory foam, or latex, and it is available in a variety of thicknesses and firmness levels to suit different preferences and needs.

Overall, the main difference between a mattress pad and a mattress topper is the level of comfort and support they provide. A mattress pad is a thin, protective layer that provides a little extra cushioning, while a mattress topper is a thicker, more substantial layer that can significantly improve the comfort and support of your mattress.

When we sweat, or simply due to the oils on our body, that all end up collecting on the foam mattress toppers. Enough of this will cause the foam mattress toppers to turn yellow over time. In addition, the foam itself may oxidize over time, and that aging can also make the foam mattress toppers turn yellow.

It depends on the material of the mattress topper. If the mattress topper is made from down or polyester, then yes, it can be machine-washed. But, of course, it needs to fit in the washing machine, and if it does, it's best to use the gentle setting. You also only want to use a mild cleaning detergent.

If you've got a memory foam mattress topper, then you will not be able to use a washing machine as it will end up being broken apart by the machine. Once that happens, it's not really possible to fix it, which means getting a replacement.

The lifespan of a mattress topper will depend on the quality of the material, frequency of use, and how well it is maintained. Generally, a good quality mattress topper can last anywhere from 3-5 years or longer with proper care. However, there are a few signs that it might be time to replace your mattress topper:

1. Visible signs of wear and tear: If you notice any rips, tears, or other damage to the mattress topper, it may be time to replace it.

2. Loss of support: If your mattress topper has lost its ability to provide the support and comfort you need, it's time to replace it.

3. Bad odor: If your mattress topper has a bad smell that doesn't go away with cleaning, it may be time to replace it.

4. Allergies or skin irritations: If you develop allergies or skin irritations that coincide with the use of your mattress topper, it's time to replace it.

Ultimately, it's important to replace your mattress topper when it is no longer providing the support and comfort you need for a good night's sleep. If you're unsure whether it's time to replace your mattress topper, you can always consult with a sleep expert or mattress retailer for guidance.

To store a mattress topper, you can follow these steps:
Start by making sure the topper is clean and completely dry. Then roll it up tightly and secure it with a bungee cord or other type of strap. This will help to keep it compact and prevent it from unrolling or becoming damaged during storage.

If the topper is made from a material that is susceptible to damage from moisture, such as memory foam or latex, consider placing it in a plastic storage bag to protect it from moisture.

Finally, store the topper in a cool, dry place, suc as a closet or attic, as long as they are not subject to extreme temperatures or moisture.

Pillow Info.

There are many different types of pillows available on the market, each with its own unique features and benefits. Here are some of the most common types of pillows:

1. Memory foam pillows: These pillows are made from a dense, viscoelastic material that conforms to the shape of your head and neck. They offer good support and can help alleviate neck and shoulder pain.

2. Down pillows: These pillows are filled with the soft, fluffy feathers from the underbelly of geese or ducks. They are lightweight and offer a plush, comfortable feel.

3. Latex pillows: Made from natural or synthetic rubber, latex pillows are firm and offer good support for the head and neck. They are also hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites.

4. Body pillows: These are long, cylindrical pillows that are designed to support the entire body, from head to toe. They can be especially beneficial for pregnant women or those with back pain.

5. Cooling pillows: These pillows are made with materials that are designed to keep you cool and comfortable throughout the night, such as gel-infused memory foam or moisture-wicking fabrics.

Ultimately, the best type of pillow for you will depend on your individual needs and preferences. It's important to consider factors such as your sleep position, any pain or discomfort you experience during sleep, and any allergies or sensitivities you may have when choosing a pillow.

Yes, you do need to fluff the pillow! In fact, it’s best to fluff it often (daily, if possible) to keep your pillow looking and feeling fresh. We designed it to be easily revived with a quick fluff. While most pillows are filled with batting or garnetted fiber that tends to bunch or clump, each fiber cluster in the Bedstory pillow is individually blown into it. This advanced process keeps the fill from bunching and also allows it to be easily rejuvenated. If you neglect to fluff regularly, your pillow may compress and flatten over time, but it will always bounce back with a little love.

There are some tips that could help you fluff the pillows. They are as follows:

Tip 1 – Let the dryer do the fluffing
Use the dryer only with no heat functionality. You're going to place the pillow in the dryer with tennis balls. You can set the tennis balls in a sock to make stacking easier.

Tip 2 – Place it outside
You can simply leave your pillow outside to get some fresh air. The natural breeze will fluff it for you.

Tip 3 – Fluff it with your hands
You could fluff your pillows by pinching, squeezing, and putting pressure all over the pillow. This will help redistribute the pillow properly back into its shape.

It is recommended to replace pillows every 1-2 years, or when they start to show signs of wear and tear. Pillows accumulate dust mites, dirt, and oils from your body over time, which can make them less supportive and more prone to harboring bacteria and allergens. Additionally, pillows can lose their shape and become lumpy or misshapen over time, which can cause neck and shoulder pain.

However, the lifespan of a pillow depends on several factors, including its quality, materials, and usage. If you notice that your pillow is no longer providing adequate support, is discolored or stained, or is causing allergies or asthma symptoms, it may be time to replace it even if it hasn't been two years.

Choosing the right pillow for your sleeping position is important to ensure proper support and alignment of your neck and spine. Here are some tips on how to choose the right pillow for your sleeping position:

1. Side sleepers: If you sleep on your side, you'll want a pillow that is firm and provides adequate support for your head and neck. Look for pillows that are high loft (thick), to keep your head and neck in a neutral position. A contoured or shaped pillow can also help to provide additional support for your neck and shoulders.

2. Back sleepers: If you sleep on your back, you'll want a pillow that is medium-firm and not too high loft. A pillow that is too thick can push your head forward and cause strain on your neck. Look for a pillow that supports the natural curve of your neck and spine.

3. Stomach sleepers: If you sleep on your stomach, you'll want a pillow that is soft and low loft. A pillow that is too thick can strain your neck and cause discomfort. Consider using a thin pillow or no pillow at all to keep your neck in a neutral position.

4. Combination sleepers: If you tend to change positions throughout the night, look for a pillow that is versatile and can provide support in multiple positions. A shredded memory foam pillow or a down pillow that can be adjusted can be a good choice for combination sleepers.

In addition to your sleeping position, consider any pain or discomfort you experience during sleep. If you have neck or shoulder pain, look for a pillow that provides adequate support for those areas. And if you have allergies or sensitivities, consider a hypoallergenic pillow. Ultimately, the best pillow for you will depend on your individual needs and preferences

Here are some signs that it may be time to replace your pillow:

1. It's more than 1-2 years old: Pillows should be replaced every 1-2 years, as they accumulate dust mites, dirt, and oils from your body over time.

2. It's lumpy or misshapen: If your pillow is no longer providing adequate support and has become lumpy or misshapen, it's time to replace it.

3. It's discolored or stained: If your pillow has become discolored or stained, it may be a sign that it's time to replace it. Even if the stains are not visible, pillows can harbor bacteria and mold over time, which can be harmful to your health.

4. It's causing allergies or asthma symptoms: If you have allergies or asthma, your pillow can be a major source of irritants. If you notice that your symptoms are worse when you're sleeping, it may be time to replace your pillow.

5. You wake up with neck or shoulder pain: If you wake up with neck or shoulder pain, it could be a sign that your pillow is no longer providing adequate support. It's important to choose a pillow that matches your sleeping position and provides proper support for your neck and spine.

Ultimately, the lifespan of a pillow depends on several factors, including its quality, materials, and usage. Pay attention to how your pillow feels and looks over time, and replace it when it starts to show signs of wear and tear.
