BedStory 3.6 Inch Dual Layer Pillow Top and Gel Memory Foam Bed Toppers

I had been complaining about our new mattress for years being too firm. We didn't want to spend the money for a new mattress so this topper was the next best idea. The Topper was easy to unpack and set up and feels like you are sinking in to a plush cushion. I love the fact that the pillow topper and memory foam are two separate pieces and we might try just the topper itself and see if we even need the memory foam at all. The only downfall seems that it traps the heat. I would definitely recommend it if you need softer bed at an affordable price. Update: It has now been a week since receiving it and I am absolutely loving it!

Okay, I love doing reviews and I really rely on reviews before I buy anything, so here is my review.....this is one of my best buys ever! I was happy to see both pieces were bagged separate but in one (heavy) box. I also have to say there was no fowl smell after cutting the vacuum seal- thank goodness!! The memory foam piece fit perfectly on my queen mattress. The cloth topper piece has nice,deep corner pockets that has strong elastic band to hold it in place. After a few days out of the vacuum seal,both pieces were at full body of softness. Both pieces together gave me the softess,cloud-like sleep I have ever had! I highly recommend BedStory! The end product was fantastic. It took a while for the foam to expand so we couldn’t use it for a few days.

So I recently moved, starting from scratch. I basically had to get a new "everything" as I wasn't taking anything with me outside of electronics and sentimental items, things that couldn't be replaced. That being said, I ordered one of those magical mattress in a box things you see here on Amazon; I figured I wasn't going to use it forever as my main bed, and use it in the guest room, but it was good enough for me to get started at my new place; it wasn't horribly uncomfortable, but you wouldn't want to sleep on it for the rest of your days. Then enter the BedStory mattress topper. I through this thing on top of my expandable mattress in a box, and now I have zero plans to use this as "just a guest bed." This thing is comfortable! It is not so squishy where you feel you are sinking it, but offers the right amount of fluff/support you would expect from a high end mattress that cost a thousand or more. The included topper is the icing on the cake, as you don't feel like you are just laying on some memory foam, and it visibly looks like there's just a mattress under your sheets as you can see the subtle mattress pattern indents of the pillowtop below the sheets. I saw a lot of people complain that the pillow top wasn't tall/high enough, but I think it is the perfect high -- I don't want to feel like I'm sinking into pillow when I law down, I want comfort, support, and softness, and this package as a whole puts that all together nicely. I'll likely get another one when I finally get my guest bed, and now I know I won't have to spend some crazy amount on a mattress with this.
