What makes the SPINEALIGN mattress different from the COOLING COLLECTION?
Unlike the COOLING COLLECTION, which focuses on cooling for hot sleepers, the BEDSTORY SPINEALIGN is specifically engineered for targeted spinal support. It uses a zoned support system and iSPINE Foam to provide medium firmness for the lumbar support, while relieving pressure around the shoulders and hips.
Does the BEDSTORY SPINEALIGN have good motion isolation and edge support?
Yes. The individual pocketed springs minimize motion transfer, so you won't be disturbed by a partner moving during the night. The reinforced edges also provide sturdy support, preventing sagging when sitting or sleeping near the side of the bed.
Does it have cooling features?
Unlike the COOLING COLLECTION, the SPINEALIGN mattress doesn't have dedicated cooling technologies, such as phase-change materials. It focuses primarily on spinal alignment and firm support, though the breathable knit cover and open-coil system do disperse heat.
Is BEDSTORY SPINEALIGN good for back pain?
Definitely. It comes with a hybrid designed for their zoned coils and balanced support. They combine foam that shapes to your body with coils that respond to movement, helping keep your spine aligned and easing pressure for many sleepers.
Should back pain sufferers sleep on a soft, plush mattress?
Usually, no. Very soft mattresses can let your spine sink out of alignment and make back pain worse. Firmness is a personal choice, though. Some plush mattresses with strong support underneath may help, but they are not common for back pain relief.
Which sleeping positions are NOT recommended for the SPINEALIGN?
