I ordered the 12-inch Dark Night mattress in Full size. I was a little skeptical about ordering a mattress online, especially one that actually has coils in it (unlike a typical fully-foam mattress-in-a-box), but I am extremely pleasantly surprised with how sturdy and well-constructed this mattress is! It definitely feels high quality. Additionally, the processing and shipping time was SO fast!
I will say, I was under the impression the firmness was "medium," but this thing is definitely FIRM. I'm sure it will soften up over time though, and it's clearly very supportive. Because I'm someone who yearns to sleep on a marshmallow, I've supplemented the mattress with a 3-inch cooling gel memory foam mattress topper (from the brand Lucid) and a super-squishy viscose pillow top mattress pad (from the brand Niagara). So essentially I've created the tallest, comfiest, cocoon-iest bed known to man.
tl;dr I'm super pleased with my purchase and I'll be recommending BedStory to my friends who are in the market for a new mattress!

We got this after my wife had back injury and couldn’t sleep on our old bed any more. It’s been so much better and the firmness really gives a lot of support. We are very happy with it.

Said medium firm in description but definitely FIRM. Not uncomfortable but I will have to add a foam topper to sleep on this. That said, it’s easier to add softness with a topper than it is to make a mattress firmer so this is probably the way to go. Quite heavy. Requires two people or one quite strong one.
No noticeable odor. Expanded quickly. Seems to be of good quality. I plan to put a fully zippered cover on it to protect it. It’s only day 2 but seems to be a good, affordable purchase for a guest bedroom.
