Bamboo Charcoal Firm Mattress Topper

After using this for a couple of months it has functioned exactly as described in the advertisement, given quality use, is as firm as described. I was shopping for an actual firm to extra-firm topper and this is it. Our person using this nightly now reports this supports without sinking down into it, no more sore shoulders or numbing arms after a night's sleep, (side sleeper) and no problem with turning over and no uncomfortable experience of sinking downwards into it. This firmly supportive without that falling into a crater sinking that occurs with squishy types of foam. This doesn't "jiggle", collapse in on itself or fall over when stood on the floor on its side, it retains its shape and basically can stand by itself on its edge even though it is not rigid. The person here using it is an adult with a 185lbs. or so weight and this topper is retaining thickness, form and performance like new without rigidity. Side note; if someone needs to push down on their topper with their hands in order to get into a standing position from lying flat, this topper will support and give aid for that motion as opposed to much softer foam toppers, (please check your own situation for safety requirements and need, do not substitute a topper for medically necessary metal equipment, etc.). Also of note, since the person using this is larger in weight, they experience comfort from this topper as well as needed support and a significantly lighter-weight person might find this topper a bit too firm if they would be expecting to have a very soft "sink into a pillow" experience. However, this topper is comfortable! This topper is very well constructed, the value for price did not disappoint and I highly recommend this for a truly firm, supportive topper that has comfort also. There was a slight plastic odor that quickly dissipated once plastic wrapping was removed and it was odor free after the initial instructed waiting period passed. I like the heavy materials used for the covering, and the quality of firmed support this allows for even a heavier/more muscular person. Within our use, this topper is not a heat-producer like is reported with Tempurpedic foam. I definitely recommend this topper.

I am not sure this is going to work with my bed. I have an adjustable bed and this topper does not really help anymore than just having my bed without the topper. Nice topper, but just not working like thought it would. I have even tried both sides. I will try longer though. Thank you Sheila

After several weeks of use, the topper still holds its shape well. The foam hasn’t flattened, and the comfort level feels consistent night after night.

When I first unwrapped this and let it expand I was so excited! I loved the way it felt right away, the thickness is great, and the firmness seemed just right for me. Me. I couldn't wait to get it on my bed. After waiting the 48 hours I was able to get it onto my bed, the straps to attach it are great and super helpful, and it fit perfectly. When I tried laying down on it, I couldn't wait to go to bed because it felt so good!

Here's where the problem comes in for me, unfortunately. This mattress pad is way too hot for me. I've been waking up sweating every night, and unable to fall back asleep. It is so comfortable and I wanted to love it so bad, but It just isn't for me. I am a hot sleeper, but I thought this had cooling foam that might make it work for me. It is a great product, but just not for me.
I will say that I am super bummed or stressed out I guess trying to handle the return process. It is supposed to go in the original box, but now that it has expanded it is way way too big. I don't own a vacuum sealer like the other reviews are saying. I'm trying to figure out what to do before the return window closes, I will edit this and let you guys know if I figure something out! Hope this helps somebody.

After my mattress started sagging and causing me bad back pain, I ordered this mattress topper to avoids ordering a new mattress for the time being! It arrived compressed, was light enough for me to put on and adjust on my bed. It said 48 hours for it to expand, but mine took more like 12. No chemical smell or anything which I have experienced with others. Fits perfectly on my queen bed and is firm but comfortable, which is exactly what I need for a good night’s rest. Feels like great quality, especially for the value it costs. I took my first nap on this thing and immediately needed to right this review because I love it so much. 5/5 highly recommend.

I ordered a queen size 3 inch topper and the first one sent was only a full size but they sent a replacement in the correct size that arrived very quickly. After allowing it to expand on the bed for 72 hours it only expanded to 3 inches not 4 inches. And it had a smell but that disappeared after the 72 hours. Comfortable but haven’t slept on it long enough to say it will help with back issues.
